What is FastPass?

Fastpass is Disney's answer to long, sometimes almost unbearable lines. Best of all, unlike at other theme parks, Fastpass is FREE and ANYONE can use it!!

How does Fastpass work? It's easy!! When you get to each park get a map so you can see which attractions Fastpass is currently available at. When you first arrive at your selected attraction you will see two clocks. One clock will tell you how long the Stand By Line wait is. The other clock will tell you what time you would return if you got a Fastpass. To get a Fastpass you take your admission ticket and insert it into the Fastpass machine located in front of the attraction. Out pops your admission ticket along with another piece of paper- this is your Fastpass. It will indicate what time frame you may return and which attraction the Fastpass is for. Please keep in mind that each and every person that wants to return to the attraction to use Fastpass MUST have their OWN Fastpass. Once your time has arrived you may return to the attraction and get on the Fastpass line. Yes, line, but trust me, it will be MUCH shorter then the regular line usually no longer then 10 minutes. Make sure not to lose your Fastpass and to have it in hand when you arrive back at the attraction as the Cast Members will check and collect them. If you get confused or make a mistake there is always a Cast member standing by the Fastpass machine to help. The only restriction to the Fastpass is that you can only have one at a time. However as soon as the window on your Fastpass starts you can get another one- meaning if your return time is between 2:00- 3:00 you can get another Fastpass at 2:01 even if you haven't used your first Fastpass.

In my opinion Disney's Fastpass is one of the best things Disney has done to improve their theme parks and like I said above the best part is that Fastpass is available to everyone and it is FREE.
